Menyoal Menghilangnya TIK Dari Kurikulum 2013

Walaupun kurikulum 2013 masih berupa draft, namun hampir dapat dipastikan bahwa mata pelajaran TIK (Teknologi Informasi dan Komunikasi) akan hilang dari Kurikulum 2013. Sebenarnya sih kurang tepat bila dikatakan hilang, yang benar tepat adalah pada Kurikulum 2013, TIK bukan sebagai mata pelajaran, tetapi sebagai alat, sehingga tuntutannya TIK harus terintegrasi dengan semua mata pelajaran.

Bagaimana cara mengintegrasikan? Banyak cara sih, misal guru menggunakan TIK dalam pembelajaran, menggunakan e-Learning,  media sosial dan blog  dalam pembelajaran,  menugaskan siswa mencari bahan ajar di internet, menginstruksikan membuat makalah dengan cara diketik pakai komputer, dan lain sebagainya. 

Setiap kebijakan tentu akan membawa dampak, termasuk integrasinya TIK dengan semua mata pelajaran juga membawa dampak baik dampak positif maupun dampak negatif. Salah satu dampak positifnya adalah guru akan semakin terdorong untuk menguasai TIK. Salah satu dampak negatifnya adalah “hilangnya ladang” bagi guru TIK. Namun saya berharap pemerintah sudah menyiapkan solusinya biar guru TIK, terutama yang sudah mengantongi sertifikat pendidik di bidang TIK tidak dirugikan. Jadi kita berpikir positif saja, mudah-mudahan dengan diberlakukannya Kurikulum baru, Kurikulum 2013 akan dapat meningkatkan kualitas pendidikan di Indonesia. Kurang bijak rasanya kita terlalu banyak menilai sesuatu yang belum dilaksanakan.
